Ana M. Menendez has served as chief financial officer and treasurer of Watsco Inc. in Miami, Florida, since 2003. Watsco Inc. is the largest distributor of air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration equipment, and related parts and supplies, in the HVAC/R distribution industry in North America. Watsco was founded more than 50 years ago as a manufacturer of parts and components for HVAC/R equipment and entered the distribution segment in 1989. Company revenues in HVAC/R distribution increased from $64.1 million in 1989 to $7.3 billion in 2023 via a strategy of acquiring companies with established market position and subsequently building revenues and profit through a combination of adding locations, products, services, and other initiatives. Watsco Inc. is currently operating 689 locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico with additional market coverage on an export basis to Latin America and the Caribbean.

Ms. Menendez previously served as vice president and treasurer of Watsco Inc., from 1998 to 2003. She also served as chief financial officer and secretary of Ezcony Interamerica Inc. from 1997 to 1998.

Ms. Menendez is a member of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Florida Institute of CPAs.

She is a certified public accountant and received a BBA degree from Florida International University and an MBA from the University of Miami.
