Hafiz Chandiwala has served as executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Coca-Cola Bottling Company United Inc. since 2021.
Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, founded in 1902 and headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, is the second-largest privately held Coca-Cola bottler in North America and the third-largest bottler of Coca-Cola products in the United States. In the past few years, Coca-Cola United has tripled the size and scope of its business with more than 10,000 associates, 48 sales and distribution centers, and eight production facilities throughout six southeastern states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Chandiwala served as senior vice president, and then executive vice president, chief administrative officer, and chief financial officer, for Coca-Cola Bottling Company United Inc. from 2014 through 2020. He has held various leadership roles within the organization since 2001.
Mr. Chandiwala is a member of the board of directors of the Birmingham Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He serves as chair of the board of directors of Western Container Corporation and served on the advisory board of directors of Mayer Electric from 2017 to 2021. He also serves on the board of directors of Coca-Cola Bottlers' Sales and Services Company LLC, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the UAB Athletics Foundation, and the dean's advisory board of the Collat School of Business.
Mr. Chandiwala is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of CPAs. He was named top CFO in the extra-large company category by the Birmingham Business Journal in 2021. He was also recognized as the 2019–2020 Business Information Professional of the Year by Beta Alpha Psi.
He earned his BS degree in accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
