Amanda Mathis is chief financial officer for Bridgestone Americas Inc., a position to which she was appointed in 2016. Bridgestone Americas Inc. is the US subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, the world's largest tire and rubber company.

In this role, she is responsible for overseeing all strategic aspects of finance, accounting and financial shared services, financial reporting, cash flow, and debt management.

Ms. Mathis joined Bridgestone Americas as controller for the consumer tire division in 2012. She was later promoted to vice president, finance for Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations North America.

Prior to joining Bridgestone, she served in a number of different leadership roles for Yum! Brands, including chief financial officer for the Long John Silver's and A&W Restaurants divisions. She also held roles at Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets and Morgan Keegan.

Ms. Mathis is a member of the board of directors of the Nashville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. She serves on the Tennessee board of the American Cancer Society. Previously, she served as a member of the boards of the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, Nashville Symphony, and the Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition.

Ms. Mathis received her BA degree in business administration, finance and marketing, and economics from Emory University's Goizueta Business School.
