William E. Fuller served as president and chief executive officer of U.S. Xpress Inc. from 2017 through June 2023. Since its founding in 1985, the company has evolved into a vital link in the supply chain, providing a portfolio of capacity solutions for its customers. Powered by nearly 9,000 professionals, U.S. Xpress is the nation's fifth-largest asset-based truckload carrier by revenue.
Prior to his role as president and chief executive officer, Mr. Fuller served as chief operating officer for U.S. Xpress Inc. from 2012 through 2017.
Mr. Fuller is a member of the board of directors of the Nashville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He also serves as a board member for the American Trucking Associations, the Trucking Alliance, and is a former member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's Transportation and Logistics Advisory Council.
Mr. Fuller attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and completed the Young American Leaders Program at Harvard Business School.
