How do public transit policies and approaches affect a community's economic growth, livability, and equitable access to opportunities? These and other topics will be explored at the 2014 Rail~Volution conference, which will be held Sept. 21–24 in Minneapolis/St. Paul.

A highlight of the program is the mobile workshops, during which participants will travel by one of several transportation modes to study community connections and amenities. The conference schedule also includes more than 80 learning sessions and a variety of networking activities each evening. The workshops will address a wide range of topics, project scales, disciplines, partnership models, and modes.
