The Office of Youth and Families is administering the New Orleans Guaranteed Income Program. This initiative will provide $350 a month for 10 months to 125 opportunity youths in Orleans Parish. As part of the program, the Office of Youth and Families is working to provide benefits counseling to all participants to ensure protection of benefits.
The Atlanta Fed has partnered with the Office of Youth and Families to create the CLIFF Guaranteed Income Dashboard to educate potential program participants on how a guaranteed income could affect their eligibility for social safety net programs.
