New single-family home sales remained fairly flat on a month-over-month basis, increasing just 0.7 percent from a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 455,000 in September to 458,000 in October. The months’ supply of available new single-family homes increased from 5.5 months in September to 5.6 months in October.
