The U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development jointly reported that total housing starts increased nearly 1 percent from January to February.
Single-family starts increased a half percent on a monthly basis.
Total starts increased 27.7 percent on a year-over-year basis and single-family starts increased 31.5 percent.
