According to Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey (PMMS), over the week ending May 16, the average rate for a 15-year fixed-rate mortgage increased 8 basis points to 2.69 percent.
The average rate for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage increased 9 basis points to 3.51 percent.
