As of July 31, the Federal Reserve's balance sheet shows total assets of $3.6 trillion. This amount reflects a decrease of $2 billion from the previous week, mainly the result of a decrease of MBS in the amount of $14 billion. In that period, U.S. Treasuries increased by $12 billion.
