The monthly average of the trade-weighted exchange value of the dollar rose 0.9 percent in November from the previous month. At the end of November, the dollar was higher against the Canadian dollar, the British pound, the yen, and a number of emerging-market currencies compared with the end of October. The value of the dollar was virtually flat against the euro.
