The headline Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased 1.2 percent over the last 12 months, a larger increase than the 1 percent rise for the 12 months ending October. Core CPI (excluding food and energy) remained at 1.7 percent for the third month in a row for the 12 months ending in November. Headline CPI edged up by 0.4 percent and core CPI rose at a 1.9 percent monthly annualized pace in November on a seasonally adjusted basis.
