In the Atlanta Fed's most recent business inflation expectations (BIE) survey, respondents indicated that, on average, they expect unit costs to rise 1.8 percent during the next 12 months, a 0.2 percent decline from February's 2.0 percent. Inflation uncertainty as measured by the variance of the survey results was unchanged at 2.4 percent.
