Real personal consumption rose 0.7 percent in March from February, which was revised upward to 0.4 percent from 0.2 percent. Durable goods led the robust consumption in March rising 2.7 percent, month over month. The pace of year-over-year real personal consumption expenditures growth rebounded to 2.86 percent in March, its highest level since April 2011.
