Crude oil prices averaged $18.39 per MMBtu in May, which is virtually flat on a month-over-month basis, and natural gas prices averaged $4.56 per MMBtu, down 1.5 percent month over month. On a year-over-year basis, both increased; crude oil prices were up 7.7 percent and natural gas prices were up 12.9 percent.
