Year over year, the services and nondurable goods subindexes were up 2.2 percent and 1.7 percent, respectively, with the nondurable goods index seeing its largest increase since October 2012. The durable goods subindex was down 1.9 percent year over year. On an annualized basis, durable goods inflation rose 0.2 percent, the first positive change since January 2013, and nondurable goods inflation rose 5.1 percent, its biggest increase since June 2013. Both of those changes might point to some upward price pressures.
