The seasonally adjusted annual rate of housing starts ticked up in July. Total starts increased 15.7 percent from June to July. Single-family starts increased 8.3 percent during the same period. On a year-over-year basis, total starts increased 21.7 percent, and single-family starts increased 10.1 percent.
