We have invited Atlanta nonprofit leaders and others to meet Atlanta Fed president Raphael Bostic as he takes his place among the nation's monetary policymakers. A Harvard- and Stanford-educated economist, President Bostic was the Judith and John Bedrosian Chair in Governance and the Public Enterprise at the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California (USC). He was assistant secretary for policy development and research at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from 2009 to 2012. From 1995 to 2001, he served as a research economist with the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, and in 2001 he became a professor at USC.
