The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta was named ninth on DiversityInc's 14th annual Top 10 Regional Companies for Diversity on April 22, 2014.

DiversityInc determines rankings using an objective methodology that calculates factors such as talent pipeline, equitable talent development (including commitments to mentorship and philanthropy), CEO/leadership commitment and supplier diversity. The empirical data for the rankings are provided by a 300-question survey filled out by personnel at the participating companies. Survey participation is free to any company with at least 1,000 U.S. workers.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta serves the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which encompasses Alabama, Florida, Georgia and sections of Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.
