The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta today released annual revisions for seasonally adjusted data for its Survey of Southeastern Manufacturing Conditions. The annual revisions cover the period of January 1992 through December 1996.
Besides incorporating standard annual updates for seasonal factors, the revisions also include late-received reports from southeastern manufacturers not previously incorporated in published reports. The seasonal factors are derived over the entire five-year period, using the Census X-11 seasonal adjustment procedure. For the current year, seasonal factors are also based on 1997 data through the reference month.
The regular release of April's initial data and March's revised data in the Southeastern Manufacturing Survey will take place as scheduled on April 13.
