Darrin Finley has been promoted to assistant branch manager at the Jacksonville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, according to Jack Guynn, president and chief executive officer of the Atlanta Fed. Guynn also announced that Kathleen Young, currently assistant vice president at the Jacksonville Branch, has been promoted to assistant branch manager of the Atlanta Fed’s Birmingham Branch. In addition, Paul Graham was promoted to assistant vice president at the Jacksonville Branch.
As assistant vice president and assistant branch manager, Finley will be responsible for all Jacksonville Branch operations and report to Christopher L. Oakley, vice president and branch manager. Finley began his career with the Atlanta Fed’s Jacksonville Branch in 1988. He was promoted to financial services director in 1996 and to assistant vice president in 1997. Finley received his bachelor’s degree in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also completed the executive development program at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in 1997, and received his master’s of business administration from Jacksonville University in 2000.
As assistant vice president and assistant branch manager of the Birmingham Branch, Young will be responsible for all Branch operations and report to Lee C. Jones, vice president and branch manager. Young has held numerous management positions in the Jacksonville Branch since joining the Bank. She was promoted to financial services director in 1997 and to assistant vice president in 2000. Young earned a bachelor of science degree in business marketing from Florida State University and also completed courses at the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business, Columbia University and Harvard Business School.
In his new position, Graham will be responsible for the branch’s payment services, including check processing, settlements, adjustments and payor bank services. Graham began his career at the Jacksonville branch in 1979 and has held management positions in the payment services area at the branch. He was promoted to financial services director in 1997. He attended the Florida School of Banking.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta serves the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which encompasses Alabama, Florida, Georgia and sections of Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. As part of the nation’s central banking system, the Atlanta Fed participates in setting national monetary policy, supervises numerous commercial banks and provides a variety of financial services to depository institutions and the U.S. government.
