Christina Wilson has been promoted to assistant vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's Jacksonville Branch, according to Jack Guynn, president and chief executive officer of the Atlanta Fed. Wilson assumed her new duties effective Jan. 1, 2004.
In her new position, Wilson will be responsible for the cash and noncash departments, facilities management and law enforcement operations. She began her career with the Jacksonville Fed in 1988. In 1994 she was promoted to management associate and became a financial services director in 1999.
Wilson earned an associate of arts degree from Florida Community College and is a graduate of the Florida School of Banking. She is currently enrolled at Jacksonville University, where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta serves the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which encompasses Alabama, Florida, Georgia and sections of Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. As part of the nation's central banking system, the Atlanta Fed participates in setting national monetary policy, supervises numerous commercial banks and provides a variety of financial services to depository institutions and the U.S. government.
