Linda Sherrer, president and chief executive officer of Prudential Network Realty, and Ellen Titen, president of E.T. Consultants, have been appointed to the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Jacksonville Branch. Their terms began Jan. 1, 2004, and run through Dec. 31, 2006.

Sherrer is president and chief executive officer of Prudential Network Realty of Jacksonville, Fla. Prior to founding Prudential Network Realty, she was marketing director of Epping Forest, a development, and an officer at Gate Petroleum Co., the developer. She was also corporate vice president and director of relocation for Watson Realty Corp. and has 25 years of executive experience in real estate.

Sherrer is a gubernatorial appointee to the board of directors of the Jacksonville International Airport Authority, a director of the Florida Association of Realtors and the incoming president to the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors. She also is a member of the board of trustees of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.

Titen is president and owner of E.T. Consultants, a business consulting firm in Winter Park, Fla., that specializes in business development and communications. Titen has been involved in marketing and public relations for more than 23 years.

In 2003, the Orlando Business Journal named Titen its Business Woman of the Year. She is a past chairman of the board of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce. Titen currently serves on the Mayor’s Partnership Task Force, the executive committee of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute Board. She has held numerous other board positions and is a member of many civic organizations.

Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta branch directors provide economic information from the branch territory to the district Bank’s president and head office directors, who use the information in formulating monetary policy and making discount rate recommendations. Sherrer was appointed to the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Jacksonville Branch by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. Titen was appointed to the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Jacksonville Branch by the Atlanta Fed’s board of directors. The Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., appoints three of the directors of the Jacksonville Branch, and the Atlanta head office directors appoint four.
