Jack B. Healan Jr., president of Amelia Island Plantation Co., and H. Britt Landrum Jr., president and chief executive officer of Landrum Human Resource Companies Inc., have been reappointed to serve on the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's Jacksonville Branch. Their terms begin Jan. 1, 2008, and run through Dec. 31, 2010.

Healan is president of Amelia Island Plantation Co. Previously he worked with the Sea Pines Co. as staff accountant and corporate accounting manager, then as vice president and controller. Prior to joining Sea Pines, Healan was a flight instructor and corporate pilot. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, including a tour in Vietnam.

Healan serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, Baptist Medical Center-Nassau, American Hotel & Lodging Association, and as chairman of the board of the Florida Hospitality Mutual Insurance Company, Inc. He is past president of the Florida Hotel & Motel Association, past chairman of Visit Fla. Inc. and is a past delegate to the White House Conference on Travel and Tourism. Healan received a degree in business administration from The Citadel. He was recognized as Resort Executive of the Year in 1999 and Florida's Hotelier of the Year in 1991.

Landrum is president and chief executive officer of Landrum Human Resource Companies Inc., which is the parent company of Landrum Professional Employer Services, Landrum Staffing Services and Landrum Consulting, a human resources and organizational development consulting firm. Headquartered in Pensacola, Fla., the company provides employer services for more than 11,000 worksite employees in more than 20 states.

Landrum Human Resource Companies Inc. is listed in the top 100 of Florida's privately owned companies, and was selected by the Society for Human Resource Management and the Great Places to Work Institute in 2007 for the third year in a row as one of the Best Small Companies to Work for in America. In June 2007 Landrum Professional Employer Services received the Florida Governor's Sterling Award for organizational excellence.

Landrum is a director of the Florida Advisory Board of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. His community activities include being chairman of Lakeview Center Inc,. a community mental health and human services organization, vice chairman of Baptist Health Care (a group of nonprofit health care facilities) and immediate past president of the University of West Florida Foundation.

Landrum received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Florida State University. He was recognized as Business Leader of the Year by the Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce in 1998 and in 2005 was the recipient of the Ethics in Business Award, presented jointly by the Combined Rotary Clubs of Pensacola and the University of West Florida College of Business.

Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Branch directors provide economic information from the branch territory to the district Bank's president and head office directors, who use the information in formulating monetary policy and making discount rate recommendations. Healan was appointed by the Atlanta head office directors, and Landrum was appointed to the Jacksonville Branch's board by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, D.C. The Board of Governors appoints three of the directors of the Jacksonville Branch, and the Atlanta head office directors appoint four.
