Outreach Lab

The Economic Survey Research Center (ESRC)'s Outreach Lab manages recruitment and retention for the center's business surveys with a staff of panel coordinators. Understanding the experiences and expectations of business leaders remains crucial to effectively conducting monetary policy. The perspectives of firms' decision makers on business conditions and the likely path of economic activity are a useful complement to statistical agencies' data, which comes with a lag. Panel coordinators from the ESRC's Outreach Lab contact businesses to offer them the opportunity to inform the policy-making process through participation in one of our regional or national surveys.
