About

Davis Ozier has served as president of Coosa Composites since May 2021.

For more than two decades, Coosa Composites has been at the forefront of delivering innovative composite board solutions to a diverse range of industries including marine, construction, and transportation. Its specialized panels are constructed with high-density, closed-cell, polyurethane foam with layers of fiberglass to serve as long-lasting composite panels suitable for a vast number of applications.

Headquartered in Pelham, Alabama, the company has customers throughout North America and worldwide with more than 70 full-time employees.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Ozier served as chief operating officer and director of operations for Luxor, a wholesale distribution company and a division of $3 billion-plus EBSCO Industries, from 2015 through 2021. He was an infantry officer with the US Army from 2005 through 2013, serving in multiple roles including Company Commander and was awarded two Bronze Stars for meritorious service in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Mr. Ozier is a member of the board of directors of the Birmingham Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and a member of Birmingham’s Monday Morning Quarterback Club, which supports the Quarterbacking Children’s Health Foundation.

He earned his BS degree in economics from Vanderbilt University and his MBA from the University of Virginia.
