Edward A. Moratin is cofounder and president of Lift Orlando, a movement of business leaders working with residents and community partners to strengthen neighborhoods so people can thrive. As a social innovator and entrepreneur, he has led purpose-driven organizations in real estate, leadership development, communications, and business services. He is a visionary leader who is passionate about creating positive community impacts through business and philanthropic innovation. He enjoys working with generous business leaders who care about investing in their people and their community. He has been helping businesses strengthen their community for two decades. His message of business-led social innovation helps purpose-driven organizations grow and give back by engaging the hearts and minds of their team with a mission for local impact.
Mr. Moratin was awarded the CEO of the Year Award by the Orlando Business Journal and was listed as one of the 50 Most Powerful Philanthropy and Community Voices. Lift Orlando is a member of the Purpose-Built Communities Network and was recognized as Florida Trend’s Floridian of the Year.
Mr. Moratin is chair of the board of directors of the Jacksonville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, a member of the Florida Council of 100, and the Orlando Economic Partnership. He serves on the board of advisers of the Urban Land Institute’s Central Florida Chapter, the 4 Roots Foundation, and the NCF Foundation. Mr. Moratin is the author of The LIFT Method and Live Your Lifework, resources for change makers and social entrepreneurs.
