Kimberly Fontan has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Entergy since 2022. Headquartered in New Orleans, Entergy is a Fortune 500 company with more than three million electric customers through its operating companies in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. Since 2018, Entergy has delivered more than $100 million in economic benefits each year to local communities through philanthropy, volunteerism, and advocacy.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Fontan served as senior vice president and chief accounting officer from 2019 to 2022. She previously served as vice president, system planning and operations from 2017 to 2019; vice president regulatory services from 2015 through 2017; and various executive-level positions with Entergy since joining the company in 1996.

Ms. Fontan is a member of the boards of directors of the New Orleans Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Ms. Fontan received her BS degree in accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi, and she holds an MBA from Loyola University New Orleans.
