Members of the Atlanta Fed’s boards of directors play a critical role in helping to formulate monetary policy, and they act as a link between the Federal Reserve and the community. Head office directors also oversee the general management of the Reserve Bank and its branches. The Sixth District’s 44 board members are business and community leaders representing a broad mix of industries and economic sectors. Rita Case is president and chief executive officer of Rick Case Automotive Group. The Rick Case Automotive Group operates 12 dealerships in South Florida and Atlanta, Georgia, and employs more than 1,450 associates. The auto group has sales of $2 billion annually and is the nation’s largest auto retailer owned and operated by a woman.
Ms. Case, together with her late husband Rick Case, built the dealership group over the last 44 years. She assumed the chief executive position when her husband passed in 2020.
Ms. Case is a member of the board of directors of the Miami Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. She also serves on the board of trustees for Nova Southeastern University, is a board member of Horatio Alger Association and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, and is a member of the Florida CEO Council.
Ms. Case earned her BS degree in economics from the University of California, Davis.
