Shelby E. Russ Jr. has served as president and chief executive officer of AOS Interior Environments since 1995. Founded in 1976, AOS is a full-service provider of contract commercial office furniture, modular interior construction and storage solutions and is the largest furniture, fixtures, and equipment contractor in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Mr. Russ is a member of the board of directors of the New Orleans Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He is also a board member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO Gold LA Chapter) Greater New Orleans Inc. and the Louisiana Music and Heritage Experience. He is a member of the MillerKnoll Corporation Dealer advisory council and a member of the Business Council of New Orleans and the River Region. He is also a board trustee for the New Orleans Contemporary Arts Center.
In 2025 Mr. Russ was the commencement speaker at Louisiana State University’s College of Art and Design.
Mr. Russ earned his BS in marketing from Louisiana State University.
