James O. Etheredge is managing director of corporate solutions at Monarch Private Equity, a nationally recognized impact investment firm that develops, finances, and manages a diversified portfolio of projects generating both federal and state tax credits. Mr. Etheredge also serves as an executive adviser at New Mountain Capital LLC. New Mountain manages private equity, credit, and net lease capital with approximately $55 billion in aggregate assets under management.

Mr. Etheredge previously served as chief executive officer of Accenture North America from 2019 to August 2023 and as special adviser to the CEO and the board until July 2024. Accenture North America is the company's largest geographic market, generating $30 billion in revenues in FY23 and with nearly 80,000 employees. The company has earned numerous top rankings as a great place to work.

Mr. Etheredge joined Accenture in 1985. He became a partner in 1997 and executive partner in 2011. His career included leading the teams responsible for many of the company's largest clients and overseeing practices in North America and Europe.

Mr. Etheredge serves as deputy chair of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He also serves on the boards of Southern Company, Grant Thornton US, and Encora. He is active in the Atlanta community, serving on the boards of the Atlanta Police Foundation, Woodruff Arts Center, and Atlanta Area Boy Scouts.

Mr. Etheredge earned his BS in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he serves as a trustee and is a member of the Hill Society.
