Working Papers present the research of Atlanta Fed staff economists and visiting scholars, and Community and Economic Development discussion papers address topical issues in community development. Policy Hub provides two forums that draw on the expertise of Atlanta Fed economists and researchers to address issues of broad policy interest: Macroblog and Policy Hub Papers. In December 2020, our Real Estate Research blog and Notes from the Vault column became part of Policy Hub.

Economy Matters is an online publication featuring a broad range of insightful economic articles, news, and research. The publication also offers an engaging podcast, quizzes, bold original photography, videos, and more. It is posted in real time and features several articles each month.

2018 Annual Report: One Region. Many Economies.

The Atlanta Fed's annual reports highlight the focus of the Atlanta Fed over the preceding year. They contain topical essays, dynamic charts, and videos and imagery, as well as links to the Bank's financial statements and lists of our current directors and officers. Annual reports have been online only since 2013, but many print versions are available online in PDF. Since 2015, the reports have been posted in Economy Matters.

Workforce Currents

Workforce Currents presents expert research on employment policy and labor market issues affecting low- and medium-income people and communities. Articles offer policymakers, workforce development experts, and others information they can use to help workers gain the support and skills they need to be competitive and succeed.

Past Publications

CenFIS's Notes from the Vault examined topics surrounding financial stability and innovation, banking and supervision, and international finance. The articles were intended to stimulate discussion of these topics and place them in a context for nonspecialists. Notes from the Vault became part of Policy Hub in December 2020.

Economic Review, a policy research journal, ceased publication with the final 2010 issue. Articles from 1996 through 2010 are available online. You may also access earlier Economic Review articles.

EconSouth, a quarterly economic and business magazine featuring articles on regional, national, and international issues pertinent to the Southeast, ceased publication in 2014. Articles from 2011 to 2014 are available online; earlier articles are available by request.

CenFIS Working Papers feature the research of visiting scholars and distinguished economists. The papers are intended to stimulate professional discussion about financial innovation and financial stability and associated policies.
