The Americas Center at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University (GSU) invite you to participate in the Sixth Southeastern International/Development Economics Workshop on Friday, December 7, 2012.

The one-day conference is intended to provide a forum for discussing innovative research on international and development economics and to facilitate the exchange of views among researchers and policymakers. Those interested in presenting at the workshop should submit a draft paper or a paper proposal to the program committee by September 7, 2012. Send proposals to Stephen Kay. Preference will be given to draft papers. Please use the contact author's name as the name of the file.

All draft papers and proposals should include the title of the paper, each author's affiliation and contact information, the main questions to be examined, the most relevant literature, the intended contribution of the paper to the literature, possible data sets, and the methods to be employed.

The selection committee will contact the authors whose papers have been selected by September 20, 2012. Final papers are expected by November 1, 2012. This year, the workshop will be hosted by GSU's J. Mack Robinson College of Business at GSU's Buckhead location in Atlanta. Information about general participation, registration, and other details will be posted on the Atlanta Fed Americas' Center website.
