The Americas Center and the American Society of Hispanic Economists organized a workshop on Hispanic economic issues that took place Nov. 19, 2010, one day before the 2010 Southern Economic Association annual meeting in Atlanta began. Economists from throughout the country presented papers on topics that included education, income distribution, immigration, and remittances.
