Charles Baxter

Charles Baxter has been employed with the Secret Service since October 2000. He began his career working in the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) forensic labs conducting examinations on counterfeit currency and instructing new USSS agents. He then transferred to the USSS Uniformed Division, where he worked as a federal police officer at the White House, where he provided protection for the president and vice president, as well as the White House facilities. After about two years, he became a special agent in the Washington field office. He conducted financial crimes investigations and continued to provide protection for the president, vice president, and visiting foreign diplomats. In August 2006, he transferred to the Atlanta field office of the USSS. He is currently assigned to the Electronic Crimes Task Force, for which he conducts criminal investigations, computer forensics investigations, and cyber-threat cases.
Andre Boysen

Andre Boysen is responsible for positioning SecureKey's growth strategy, cultivating opportunities in new and existing markets, and promoting demand for the company's solutions globally.
Prior to joining SecureKey, Boysen cofounded and served as chief technology officer of 724 Solutions Inc. Previously, he served as chief technology officer for Footprint Software and as chief executive officer for the company's Asia Pacific business. In 1999, he was named one of Canada's "Top 40 under 40" in recognition of his vision and accomplishments. From 1990 to 1994, he served as chief executive officer of Open Systems Limited. Boysen has also served on the boards of 724 Solutions Inc., Dexit Inc., Footprint Software Pty. Ltd., and 305 Management Services.
He earned a bachelor of science in computer engineering from the University of Ottawa, a master's of business administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business, and a bachelor of science in mathematics education from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. He currently lectures at Wilfred Laurier's Schlegel Entrepreneurship Centre.
Stephanie Ericksen
Head of Authentication Product Integration, Visa Inc.
Stephanie Ericksen, as head of authentication product integration at Visa Inc., focuses on payment solutions that bring enhanced security to new payment technology channels and devices. Specifically, she is responsible for managing integration of Visa's contactless and contact chip payment services and new form factors beyond traditional cards, Verified by Visa, Visa Advanced Authorization, Visa Risk Manager, and the product platforms that enhance the security of Visa's core product offerings.
Since joining Visa in 1994, Ericksen has been actively involved in developing the global smart card implementation strategy and formulating business cases for Visa Smart Debit/Credit, GlobalPlatform, and multi-application product offerings on contact and contactless chip cards and in mobile phones. Ericksen has also managed Visa's participation in payment industry standards organizations such as GlobalPlatform, EMVCo, and the Mobile Payment Forum.
Ericksen is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, where she received a BA in history with a specialization in business administration. She also holds an MBA in marketing from Santa Clara University.
Richard Fraher
Vice President and Counsel to the Retail Payments Office (RPO),
Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
Richard Fraher joined the Bank in 1998 as a senior counsel. He was promoted to assistant general counsel in 2002 and counsel to the RPO in 2009. Before joining the Bank, Fraher was a senior attorney with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Earlier in his career, he was an assistant professor of history at Harvard University, a visiting scholar at Cambridge University, and a professor of law at Indiana University. He holds a PhD from Cornell University and a JD from the Harvard Law School.
Fraher has primary responsibility for the operating circulars that structure the Fed's check and ACH services. He is one of the architects of the Federal Reserve's FedGlobal services, was a principle author of the rules of the International Payments Framework, and is currently a member of the steering committee for the Global Payments Forum. He is a member of the RPO's senior leadership team, leads the Federal Reserve legal team that supports retail payments, speaks frequently to banking industry leaders about legal issues that arise from technical and operational innovation in payments, and plays an active role in shaping discussions about the future of payments law.
Eric Kraus
Vice President, Fraud Management,

As vice president of fraud management, Eric Kraus is responsible for fraud management operations, analytics, and business systems development. His team provides several fraud risk-mitigation solutions and services designed to simplify fraud management for client partners while protecting the assets of financial institutions and cardholders.
Kraus has more than 17 years of experience in the financial services arena, including the last 12 years with FIS. Before joining the issuance fraud management group, he oversaw the merchant acquiring risk management team. There, he was responsible for all aspects of merchant underwriting, and ongoing operational risk mitigation.
Kraus has hosted and participated in numerous industry panels and focus groups throughout his career focusing specifically on fraud and risk mitigation issues. He holds a BS of business administration in economics from Florida Southern College. Kraus is also a member of the national Product Development and Management Association.
Bob Reany
Group Head, Authentication Products and Strategy Development,
Global Products & Solutions—MasterCard Worldwide
In his current role, Bob Reany has responsibility for the development and implementation of MasterCard's enterprise authentication strategy. This includes authentication solutions for eCommerce, Mobile Commerce, and card-present environments. As part of the Emerging Payment's management team, his responsibilities include developing cross-functional solutions, building value for all stakeholders in the payments process, and working with industry leaders to develop safe and consumer-friendly solutions.
Prior to this assignment, Reany was the group head of Commerce Gateway Services. His responsibilities included product management and development of MasterCard's global e-commerce processing services, including the DataCash business acquisition and integration efforts. In addition, his team managed the expansion and development of the MasterCard Internet Gateway Services (MiGS). Reany also served on the board of directors for DataCash LTD in this role.
In past roles, Reany held key management and business consulting positions throughout the MasterCard technology and product development organizations. During his tenure at MasterCard, he has overseen the authorization and clearing product development and product management group. He was also part of strategic planning and business development for authorization services, technical development of the Smart Data Commercial services, and business consulting for eCommerce services.
Before joining MasterCard in 1996, Reany spent 10 years in the point-of-sale system industry, where he managed the implementation of electronic benefits transfer services, promotion-based couponing, and payment processing for large grocery retailers in the U.S. market.
Reany holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, where he has been recognized as a distinguished alumnus and inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma business honor society. He also holds a master's degree in information management from Washington University. Reany has actively supported several local philanthropic organizations, including holding board positions for St. Louis Effort for AIDS, a charitable organization that focuses on funding education, prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment support for high-risk communities, and president of the University of Missouri, St Louis, MIS Advisory board.
Peter G. Tapling
President and Chief Executive Officer, Authentify
Peter Tapling cofounded Authentify in 1999 and has held the position of president and CEO ever since. Tapling joined Authentify from Aurigin Systems (acquired by MicroPatent), and prior to that was vice president of strategic development for NetDox and president of IDMetrix, a NetDox subsidiary. Tapling previously held senior management positions at startups in the information security and application development markets. He brings a wealth of industry and management experience, having had responsibility, at various times, for sales, marketing, business development, finance and technical services. Tapling serves on the NACHA Internet Council and participated in the development of the Financial Services Technology Consortium (FSTC) Security Working Group. He is a frequent speaker on the topics of authentication, risk management, and identity theft and is a coauthor of the book Mastering the Fraud Tsunami.
Tapling is an executive director of the Illinois Information Technology Association, is a member of the Dean's Advisory Board of the College of Applied Sciences and Technology at Illinois State University, and acts as a mentor to entrepreneurs and as an advisor to a collection of small enterprises. He is a frequent speaker at industry forums. Tapling earned a BS in applied computer science from Illinois State University.
Sebastien Taveau

Sebastien Taveau has more than 20 years of experience in embedded solutions, mobile, software, and security. Most recently, at PayPal, Taveau led the Mobile Ecosystem and Technology Integration group and has led the Mobile Disruptive Innovation team. He is a member of the eBay Inventors Club for his multiple patent contributions, and is a two-time recipient of the PayPalian Award. Additionally, Taveau founded and led Fluctuat LLC, and held senior positions at Cardsoft, Renesas, Ridgerun, and Motorola SPS (now Freescale).
Taveau acquired a postgraduate degree in international business administration (DESS GEI eq. IBA/EBS) from the University of Paris 1–Pantheon Sorbonne and an MS in business management from the University of Tours in France.
