Missi Holcomb, assistant vice president, Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) Employee Experience, has been promoted to vice president, FRFS Talent Management and Cross-District Partnerships and Administration. She assumed her new role April 16.
Holcomb will continue to lead efforts that promote a strong employee experience and culture within FRFS. She will also oversee collaborative partnerships with cross-district Reserve Bank partners, various System support functions, FRFS's talent and change management functions, and the FedNow integration.
Holcomb joined the Atlanta Fed in 1999. She held various analytical, management, and project coordinator positions for the Sixth District's Check Product Office before joining the Retail Payments Office (RPO) as a project coordinator in 2008. Previously a director over people and culture for the RPO and FRFS, she was promoted to assistant vice president in November 2022. Holcomb is also a recipient of the Sixth District's President's Award. She earned a bachelor's degree in English and business from Florida State University and a master's degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta serves the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which encompasses Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and sections of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. As part of the nation's central banking system, the Atlanta Fed participates in setting national monetary policy, supervises numerous commercial banks, and provides a variety of financial services to depository institutions and the US government.
