The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta has appointed Tony Stallings as a member of the Bank’s executive leadership committee. Stallings is senior vice president of Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) Customer Service. The appointment was effective September 1, 2024.
The Bank's executive leadership committee supports the president and first vice president in their efforts to make the Bank a high-performing organization characterized by operational excellence, agility, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the pursuit of continual improvement.
Stallings is a member of the FRFS senior leadership team and serves as the primary executive of FRFS’s unified customer service and operations strategy functions. Nearly 340 Atlanta Fed employees work for FRFS, which offers payment and information services to financial institutions.
Stallings joined the Atlanta Fed in 1992 as an operations manager in Payment Services and held director-level roles in the former Retail Payments Office (RPO) and Human Resources before being promoted to assistant vice president in Facilities Management in 2013. He was promoted to vice president of operations in the RPO in 2018 and assumed his current role in 2021. Stallings earned a bachelor's degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta serves the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which encompasses Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and sections of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. As part of the nation's central banking system, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta participates in setting national monetary policy, supervises numerous commercial banks, and provides a variety of financial services to depository institutions and the US government.
