Take a Trip to New Orleans—Virtually
Don’t let a little distance stop you from visiting New Orleans—you can get there by way of your computer or tablet. A new online virtual tour allows visitors to experience the Museum of Trade, Finance, and the Fed, located in the New Orleans Branch of the Atlanta Fed, up close and personal.
Visitors will learn about the Crescent City’s rich history as a trade hub and the important financial infrastructure that allowed it to flourish. The museum includes exhibits on the evolution of money and the Fed’s role in supporting the U.S. economy’s financial infrastructure.
The virtual tour combines panoramic views of the museum with close-up images of the individual displays, as well as videos and written descriptions. Navigation buttons and information hotspots guide visitors through the museum and offer more details about the exhibits. Visitors can also share the tour using social media and e-mail with the share button at the bottom of the screen.
