The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis—in partnership with the Federal Reserve Banks of Atlanta, Minneapolis, Richmond, San Francisco, the Board of Governors, and the CDFI Fund—invites the submission of papers for an upcoming symposium focused on better understanding evidence surrounding community development financial institution (CDFI) activities and implications on policy issues affecting the industry.

We invite papers that include but are not limited to the following topics:

  • The role of CDFIs in the U.S. financial system
  • The effects of government policy on CDFIs
  • The CDFI model
  • CDFI capitalization
  • CDFI development pathways
  • CDFIs and social impact.

The CDFI Symposium will take place May 19–20, 2020, in St. Louis, Missouri. Find more information on the Call for Papers. The submission deadline is January 31, 2020.
