Overview
Merchants, bankers, and others are beginning to use biometric technology—especially fingerprint, voice, and facial recognition—for authenticating customers, both to allow them access to their financial accounts and to conduct transactions online and at the point of sale. This conference brings together biometrics experts to examine the current authentication technology environment. The conference focuses on the U.S. market but incorporates the learnings from implementations throughout the world.

Highlights of the conference include:

  • Keynote address by Dr. Anil Jain of Michigan State's Biometric Research Group and one of the world's leading experts on biometrics
  • Panel discussions covering fingerprint, voice and facial recognition technology, learnings from implementations in other markets, consumer-facing issues such as privacy, and other biometric technologies with strong potential in the short term
  • An interactive session with the audience featuring real-time polling to generate lively discussions around biometrics and its impact on payments
  • A conversation with the senior security person from the Payments Improvement effort facilitated by the Federal Reserve

Audience
Attendance of industry experts, regulators, policymakers, and law enforcement officials is by invitation only.

Cost
