Lisa Palmer has served as president and chief executive officer of Regency Centers Corporation in Jacksonville, Florida, since January 1, 2020. Regency Centers Corporation is a real estate investment trust and national owner, operator, and developer of open-air shopping centers. Regency Centers Corporation owns and operates nearly 500 shopping centers comprising more than 56 million square feet of retail space.
Prior to her current role, she served as president and chief financial officer from 2016 to 2019, executive vice president and chief financial officer from 2013 to 2015, and senior vice president of capital markets from 2003 until 2013. Ms. Palmer has held various other leadership positions with Regency Centers Corporation since 1996.
Before joining Regency, she was a consultant with Accenture and a financial analyst for General Electric.
She is a member of the boards of directors of the Jacksonville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and Brooks Rehabilitation. She also serves as chair of the board of directors of the United Way of Northeast Florida. Ms. Palmer is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, the Urban Land Institute, and ICSC (Innovating Commerce Serving Communities).
She earned a BA in economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
