Ignacio Garcia-Menocal cofounded and has served as chief executive officer of Grove Bay Hospitality Group since 2014. Grove Bay Hospitality Group was named among the "Best Places to Work" in 2017 and 2022 and Business of the Year in 2018 by the South Florida Business Journal. One of the world's most prestigious culinary guides, the Michelin Guide, has recognized three of Grove Bay Hospitality's restaurants, with one restaurant earning a coveted one-star rating.

Restaurant Hospitality has named Garcia-Menocal two years in a row in its annual "Power List," an accolade recognizing the country's most influential restaurant leaders. Additionally, Grove Bay's restaurants and chef partners have been semifinalist nominees for the James Beard Foundation Awards. Grove Bay has also been named as one of the "Top 25 Innovative Multi-Concept Restaurant Groups in the United States" by Restaurant Hospitality and was listed as one of the "Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America" by Entrepreneur Magazine.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Garcia-Menocal launched his career at Deloitte & Touche from 1999 to 2005. He also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of 50 Eggs Inc. from 2011 to 2014 and vice president of finance for Shula's Steak Houses LLP from 2006 to 2011.

Mr. Garcia-Menocal is a member of the board of directors of the Miami Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and the City of South Miami Advisory Committee. He is a former member and treasurer of Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association.

Mr. Garcia-Menocal received his BA degree in accounting from the University of Florida and Masters of Accounting from Florida International University. He also received a certificate of foodservice from Cornell University and is a licensed certified public accountant.
